Individual Statistics
GP Games Played. Number of games for which this player has been on the ice.
G Goals. Number of goals scored by this player. This includes goals scored on penalty shots. When a goal is scored against the opposing team by one of their own players, the last attacking player to touch the puck is credited with the goal.
A Assists. Number of goals on which this player assisted. At most two assists are awarded for any goal. They go to the two attacking players who touched the puck immediately prior to the goal scorer, without any intervening touches by any defensive player other than the goaltender.
PTS Points. Sum of goals and assists for a player.
PIM Penalties in Minutes. Number of penalty minutes assessed against a player. Minor penalties are recorded as two minutes. Double minors are twice that. Major penalties are five minutes. All of the various flavors of misconduct penalties are recorded as ten minutes. If a player's stay in the penalty box is shortened by a power play goal or injury, or lengthened by running time or waiting for a whistle, those changes are not reflected in the player's statistics. Penalties served by one player on behalf of another, such as a goaltender, are recorded against the offending player, not the one serving the penalty. Bench penalties are not recorded against any player.
+/- Plus/Minus. Even-strength or short-handed goals scored by a player's team while he is on the ice count as +1. Even-strength or short-handed goals scored against a player's team while he is on the ice count as -1. Power play goals are not counted. This statistic is not kept for goaltenders.
Goaltender's Statistics
GA Goals Against. Number of goals scored against this goaltender. Empty net goals (goals scored when the goaltender has left the ice) are not counted.
GAA Goals Against Average. Goals against, divided by number of games played. The average number of goale against, per game.
SH Shots Against. Number of shots taken against this goaltender. All goals scored are counted as shots.(*) Aside from that, to count as a shot, the puck must have been (a) prevented from entering the net by the goaltender, and (b) intentionally shot on net by an attacker.(*) Shots blocked by defensemen do not count; shots stopped by the goaltender which would not have gone in the net do not count; clearing passes from the other end of the ice which happen to go on net usually do not count.(*)
SV% Save Percentage. The number of shots stopped by this goaltender (i.e., total shots minus goals against), divided by the total number of shots against this goaltender.
SO Shutouts. Games played by this goaltender during which no goals were scored against him.
Per-Game Statistics
Shots Shots taken. Number of shots this team had on the opposing goal. All goals scored are counted as shots.(*) Aside from those, to count as a shot, the puck must have been (a) prevented from entering the net by the goaltender, and (b) intentionally shot on net by an attacker.(*) Shots blocked by defensemen do not count; shots stopped by the goaltender which would not have gone in the net do not count; clearing passes from the other end of the ice which happen to go on net usually do not count.(*)
Assist Assists. Name of player assisting on this goal. At most two assists are awarded for any goal. They go to the two attacking players who touched the puck immediately prior to the goal scorer, without any intervening touches by any defensive player other than the goaltender.

Power-Play: More attackers than defenders on ice.
SH

PP Chances Power Play Chances. Number of power play goals scored by this team, and the number of chances this team had to score a power play goal. Each penalty which causes the opposing team to be short-handed (i.e., not misconduct penalties, and not coincidental penalties) is counted as one power play chance, regardless of the length of the resulting power play.(*)
